Project details

At the occasion of the World Peace Day, Earth Focus, in partnership with GenevaWorld and ICVolunteers, is organizing a youth debate at the International Conference Centre of Geneva (ICCG).

Young people aged 12 to 17 years old, from both public and private schools will be joining the event.

Two round table will be held from 9 to 12 am and from 1 to 4:30 pm.

Among the speakers are:

  • Professor Dr. Alfred de ZAYAS, Professor of International Law at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations
  • Mrs. Vita de WAAL, Executive Director, Foundation for Gaia and
  • United Nations Representative for Planetary Association for Clean Energy
  • Mr. Yves LADOR, Earthjustice, Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva
  • Dr. Douglas CRIPE, Senior Scientist, Climate Research Group and Climatic Change, University of Geneva

For the round table, 12 children from around the world invited by the GenevaWorld Association.

Volunteering Opportunities

We are looking for volunteers to help with welcoming services and interpretation (English from and to French).
